Day 1 Lima: Today we will take a tour in the historic heart of Lima. Guided tour to the historic heart of Lima, the most important city of the Spanish colony in the Americas. Visit the Main Square, Iglesia de San Francisco and the modern part of Lima.
Day 2 To Cusco: Early in the morning our private transportation will take us to the Lima Airport for our flight to Cusco, the archeological capital of America. Transfer to our hotel in Cusco for 3 nights.
Day 3 Cusco: Today we will visit the nearby ruins around Cusco, including Sacsayhuaman with its remarkable Inka masonry, Qenqo, Pucapucara and Tambomachay. Return to Cusco and visit the Koriqancha and the cathedral, one of America’s most impressive.
Day 4 Chinchero, Ollantaytambo & Pisac: A full day tour through the Sacred Valley of the Inkas. Our tour will start by visiting the “Away Yachana Wasi” (learning house in Quechua) and the remaining ruins at Chinchero. We continue visiting the fortress of Ollantaytambo and Pisac.
Day 5 Inka Trail Day 1 Cusco – km 82 – Huayllabamba: Morning pick-up from your hotel and drive to the trailhead at km 82. You’ll see the Inka terraces of Patallaqta before arriving at campsite in Huayllabamba.

Day 6 Inka Trail Day 2 Huayllabamba – Pacaymayu: the hardest part of the trail starts this morning when you walk from 3,000 mt-9,840 ft to Warmiwañusca pass at 4,200 mt-13,776ft. Then descend to camp in Pacaymayu.

Day 7 Inka Trail Day 3 Pacaymayu – Wiñay Wayna: Start a beautiful day with visits of the archeological sites of Runkurakay, Sayacmarca, Conchamarca and Puyupatamarca before entering the complex of Wiñay Wayna. With luck you’ll have beautiful panoramic views of the snow capped mountains in the area. Campsite is near by the ruins.

Day 8 Day 4 Wiñay Wayna – Machu Picchu: An early start to Intipunktu (Sun Gate) to see the sun rising over Machu Picchu. Afterwards, a guided tour of the most important parts of the lost citadel. If you like you can climb Wayna Picchu, the jutting peak overlooking the complex or the Inka bridge. Return to Cusco in the afternoon.
